E Shodh Sindhu Meaning
e-ShodhSindhu is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at providing affordable access to high-quality electronic resources for higher education institutions across the country. Established in December 2015, it was formed by merging three previous consortia UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST, and INDEST-AICTE Consortium. This amalgamation was based on the recommendations of an Expert Committee and endorsed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education) to streamline and enhance access to digital scholarly content for academic institutions in India.

e-ShodhSindhu is managed by the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, an autonomous inter-university centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The consortium includes a diverse range of member institutions
